My husband, Eric, and I decided to leave the fast pace of society and live out our days in the beautiful Washington wilderness.
Where are we?
Just south of British Columbia, between the North Cascades and The Rocky Mountains, lies one of the last remaining untouched wildernesses of America - the Columbia Highlands.
This vast roadless area acts as a haven for wildlife - wolves, grizzly bears, caribou, elk, deer, cougars, ravens, magpies, bald eagles - with only 3 people per square mile, and not a single traffic light of any kind for hundreds of miles.
And this is the place we love and call home.
As we work to build a home on wheels, the notion of home is surely set to expand & evolve. So stay tuned...
